Grit League LLC (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built MeriSawari as a free application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
MeriSawari is designed with your privacy in mind. All data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Vehicle information (name, type, make, model, year, odometer reading)
- Vehicle photo (selected from your device gallery)
- Fuel entry records (date, odometer, fuel amount, cost)
- Maintenance service records (service type, date, cost, mechanic name, notes)
- App preferences (dark mode setting)
Permissions
MeriSawari requests the following permissions:
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you maintenance service reminders. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
- Photo Picker: Used to select a vehicle photo from your gallery. MeriSawari uses Android’s built-in photo picker which does not require full gallery access.
Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. We do not have access to your data. No data is sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. The only way data leaves the app is if you voluntarily use the “Share” feature (e.g., sharing a monthly summary via WhatsApp), which is entirely under your control.
Analytics and Tracking
MeriSawari does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools. We do not track your usage behavior or collect any usage statistics.
Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by going to Settings > Clear All Data within the app. You can also uninstall the app, which will remove all stored data from your device.
Children’s Privacy
MeriSawari is a general-purpose vehicle tracking utility and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
